Digital
Resources

Every digital resource the community members (re)share on the GitHub organisation is listed here. This page reads that organisation live and files each repository under the topics its maintainers gave it. This is just for convenience and you can always browse and search the GitHub organisation directly as well.

  1. Datasets #dataset
  2. Open Hardware #hardware
  3. Living Documents #living-document
  4. Learning #education
  5. Event Materials #events
  6. Software Tools #tools

The resource categories here are GitHub topics on a repository we search for — a repo can sit in several of them, and adding one is a two-minute job by the repo maintainer.

Public repositories

Resources shared by the community.

This list is read straight from the GitHub organisation. Each public repository appears here the moment its maintainers give it one of the topics (i.e., #dataset, #tools, etc.) — no website edit required.

Flow Battery Reproducibility Study

Pre-liminary data analysis

  1. > 38 Institutions
  2. > 55 Datasets
  3. > 12 mio. Data rows

A first, pre-liminary insight into the results of phase 2a and phase 2b of the international reproducibility study is available as a Marimo notebook, while the data itself lives in a Google BigQuery database. The code of the dashboard lives in the GitHub organisation as 'multi-institution-study-dashboard' repository and every community member is invited to explore, analyze, and interact with it to get insights. If you want to take a look at the evaluated data, follow the link below and visit the dashboard.

Note: Phase 1 of the study was published as O'Connor et al., Energy & Environmental Science, 19, 3323–3344 (2026), DOI 10.1039/D5EE07103H.

How to join this online community

Join the commons

The community uses two online platforms: A Discord server is where the commons talks (e.g. questions, building cooperations, event planning, regular meetings). A GitHub organisation is where our data and resources live.

Feel free to join either or both.
